Sitting in April's shop in Seoul, you feel like a guest in a Danish designer's mid-20th-century living room - a really affluent Danish designer, that is. April's shop in iconic Hannam-dong is exquisite, stylish, and thought-through to the tiniest detail. We love the bar seating. Seating is elevated there, so you are on equal eye level with the baristas, and you can watch them preparing your beverage with perfection. Despite the elegance of the setting, Iohan and his team manage to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that draws in not only the coffee connoisseurs of Korea but also passers-by in this fashionable neighborhood. April in Seoul is the Danish roaster's first outpost in another country. However, considering they can transfer their commitment to quality in coffee and service this well, we certainly hope for more openings soon.
